Kent State ranks No. 87 in the country in its debut on the Best Graduate Nursing Schools list while the College of Nursing’s Doctor of Nursing Practice program ranks No. 104. “The faculty, staff and students have worked hard to accomplish this success,” said Barbara Broome, Ph.D., RN, FAAN, dean and Henderson Memorial Endowed Chair of Kent State’s College of Nursing. “We are all proud of the College of Nursing and collaborative work that has helped to achieve this high honor.” In the new rankings of Best Graduate Schools, the Northeast Ohio Audiology Consortium, which is made up of Kent State and the University of Akron, ranked No. 29 for Best Audiology Programs. Kent State’s graduate programs also rank No. 70 in Best Clinical Psychology Doctorate Programs, No. 72 in Best Speech-Language Pathology Programs, No. 99 in Best Education Schools, No. 110 in Best Fine Arts Programs and No. 131 for Best Public Affairs Programs in the updated program rankings for the 2021 edition.
