It was previously reported that the Eagles were hosting Perez in Philly for a workout.This is an interesting signing for the Eagles because Perez didn’t exactly light it up the AAF; he actually got benched at one point. In eight starts for the Birmingham Iron, Perez completed just 52.3% of his attempts for 1,465 yards (5.6 yards per attempt), five touchdowns, six interceptions Mens Andre Dillard Jersey , and a 65.9 passer rating. He rushed 24 times for 75 yards.Despite poor production, the Eagles clearly saw something in the 24-year-old Perez that they liked. Signing Perez doesn’t necessarily prevent the Eagles from selecting a developmental quarterback on Day 3 of the 2019 NFL Draft.
